If a child is absent a parent/carer must:

• Contact school on the first day of absence by 8:30 am;
• Notify school on each day of absence by 8:30am via telephone unless the length of absence has been agreed with school in advance.

If a child is absent school will:

• Telephone you on the first day of absence if we have not heard from a parent/carer via telephone;
• Following persistent unauthorised absences or school absence approaching 90%, invite parents/carers in to discuss the situation with our Headteacher.
